For a middle she does better than most of their OH’s. The problem with the current group of Canadians is that none of them can pass. Gray is an awful passer, I can’t imagine Van Ryk could be any worse than Mitrovic (who played opposite once in a while in NCAA) or Howe. I’ve wondered how Jen Cross would do at opposite. OH: Gray, Van Ryk MB: Maglio, Ogoms OPP: Cross S: King Lib: Bujan I am hoping Canada will improve at libero. Bujan played in Spain I think this year? And I think I saw that Snape is going overseas?? It’ll help getting more Canadians into France next year. |

Her experience with Hawaii beach team led to that. Imo, her arm swing is the only thing keeping her off of the pins. When she tried to play pin at Hawaii, it was just very awkward. She didn’t look comfortable |

She didn’t look comfortable She only tried a couple of times in games she never actually got to practice it in practices. She played OPP once with her pro team as well. She’s never really had the opportunity - timing has never really been there to switch to OPP because they always needed her in the middle. |

Oof Canada just looks dreadful now. They just don’t have the emotional fire they had in the first set. But of course eventually the inexperience on the outside would show when they have to take as many OOS swings as they have been. Hopefully they can at least be competitive in set 4
