Japan just couldn't keep up with Brazil when they got hot in transition. Like their block and floor defense was way less effective than usual.

Just throwing this out there for clarity since they both played today -- Brazil has two MBs with the same first name, so typically they are referred to as:
Carol = Ana Carolina da Silva, or 'Carol' in the VNL stats (subbed in set 4 today)
Carol Gattaz = Carol Gattaz, or 'C. Gattaz' in the VNL stats (started today)

If Brazil had Leia and Thaisa....they would be scary. I'm still not sold on Bia. I think I like Carol or Mayany better. no one but Ze is sold on Bia lol (and Scandicci, but they dont count either) She played a big role in this quad (best MB in 2017 Grand Prix and 2019 VNL). Scandicci is sold on her because of Natalia.  |

what is Bia's value on court...not trying to be rude but what I've seen from either Carol or Mayany would seemingly be an upgrade. A lot has to do with her height (Ze is still deciding if he's taking 3 or 4 middles. It would a easier decision if Sheilla decides not to go to Tokyo). |

what is Bia's value on court...not trying to be rude but what I've seen from either Carol or Mayany would seemingly be an upgrade. A lot has to do with her height (Ze is still deciding if he's taking 3 or 4 middles. It would a easier decision if Sheilla decides not to go to Tokyo). I hope Sheilla goes lmaoo. I think she could be decent as a back up with her experience she’s looked better recently than at first |
