JUST IN: Thailand won't be participating in the VNL due to positive cases of Coronavirus in the team. Kind of strange though because they can quarantine now (assuming speedy recovery) and be ready to go by the 25th and beyond. |

I guess I thought it was a little premature to opt out…but with the whole team succumbing to it… Still, they could potentially quarantine (depending on the severity of their symptoms- lots of teams had players test positive but only with minor symptoms) and then play. I guess for the health and safety of players though, they don’t want to push them to having to play while recovering. I hope they all recover well!!! |

BREAKING: The Thai team has not withdrawn from the list.#VNL2021 As advised by the FIVB to wait for the results again. This is because a positive result may be found after vaccination.

Cool. It's definitely an A-/B+ team (mostly cause im very unsure of the setters. They're all young and Lazowska is very young)

turkey can challenge. Italy or Serbia probably wont

The thing about China's probable roster for VNL is that only the A team is training. They don't really have a B/C squad currently training so it does makes sense that all the main players are in fact going. It would be a bad to decision if they do pull random players from clubs this late and send them to Italy without actual practice together. |
