When Hancock goes to Tokyo as the dub-sub setter for her serve with Poulter and Carlini is left off ya'll are going to be SHOOK.
Mind you, I'm not hoping for this scenario, but it's what I can absolutely see happening.

Meanwhile Chinese fans seen set up with tent at the airport waiting for China's team... May 20/21st, so a week early.
btw some fans claimed (with pictures) to have seen Zheng Yixin on the highspeed rail going to Ningbo. Maybe she will be at VNL
I seen the picture. lol. There's a rumor that Xu Ruoya (Jiangsu) is heading there as well. I guess China are calling random players at the last minute.

I think most people realize Hancock is a distant number 3 on the charts but there is literally no one else behind her so she has to be ready.

Mind you, I'm not hoping for this scenario, but it's what I can absolutely see happening. Hancock gets signed by the best European clubs and has the most success with her European teams. I watched next to zero Italian or Turkish volleyball this season, but I find it hard to believe that those owners consistently get it wrong with their signings and Hancock is just lucky to win.

Wait, you actually think Hancock has been more successful than Carlini at the professional level? She hasn't even had the same success at Novara that Carlini did before her.

Hancock is a good setter and she brings a ton...but Poulter and Carlini do better within the USA system and are better overall to my eye anyway. Tbh we’re lucky to have three solid setters like them.

Carlini 1st season - Gets Scandicci into CL and best season ever for team. 2nd season - Wins CL with Novara 3rd season - Moscow, has a bad season but still in CL 4th season - Leads THY to best finish ever - 3rd in league play and a spot in CL
Has Hancock even won anything yet or advanced a team to CL that wasn't already there before she got there? Seems like one has achieved and one hasn't.
