Whatever happens, I’m at peace with it. I’d like to see the Huskies in the Final Four, but if you’d told me before the season that they’d make it to the final eight and win a thrilling and emotionally satisfying five-setter to get there, plus they’d win the PAC-12 and setter and coach of the year, I’d have said that would be a successful season. I’d love more, but I won’t feel cheated if I don’t get it.

Why not go five again? Seems like both teams enjoy five-setters

It's crazy we had to wait more than two weeks for the tournament to start, and then several days after playing the first match (in the second round), but now they have to play two matches in less than 24 hour span. Who thought this schedule was a good idea? Exactly.

Mainly because they lost so much defense from last year.

Who thought this schedule was a good idea? the NCAA rly said f*ck volleyball if you want a National championship you get 48 teams and a god awful schedule, plus courts that make you prone to injury, no announcers for the first 2 rounds, and no locker rooms (I know they changed the last 2 things but why did we have to fight for it??). Call me crazy but I’m lowkey tired of the NCAAs treatment towards woman’s sports😅😅😅

I am torn on this one. Really no animus toward either side. It would be awesome for Pitt to break through for its first Final 4, but Washington has a bigger devoted fan base.

Bogomolova goes off and scores 75 points off her serve. U Dub wins 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.
Ok I'm kidding. I think it will be a tough match but I think Pitt pulls it out in a close 4-5 set match. Seems like momentum is on their side. However, I would never underestimate an Ella May Powell lead team. She is just so good.

I think it comes down to whoever plays the most free. I think Pitt has made it this far because they’re playing with nothing to lose, while UW is lucky to still be alive because they’re playing frantically. I hope EMP and the team sleep WELL tonight and wake up relaxed. I hope we see passing that can set middles and good tip coverage😐 in Washington’s defense they never have a person under 5’11 on the court (which I think is really funny for some reason). Anyways, I hope to see some of that signature calm demeanor from Ella and a lot of heart from Calle, and some very good swings from the triplets. Somebody want to give me some insight on Pitt? I watched a little bit of a few of their matches and they just looked very free so that’s all I really know

Both played 5 setters so both teams might be gassed but Washington played just a bit later than Pitt did. Fatigue will be a factor tomorrow Yeh I picked Wash but that possible physical and emotional fatigue is the one thing (or is that two things?) that worries me most about the pick. I saw both teams and think Pitt came out of their 5-setter with more energy. I’m sticking with my pick of course but would not be surprised with a Pitt sweep. Really depends on how well Wash can handle this quick turnaround.

Go huskies. The middles for Pitt are very good- starks is a great blocker. Hoping the Husky block can keep them under control.

I became a Keegan Cook and Washington fan yesterday watching their 5th set. I like Pitt too, but my heart is with Washington.

Washington and the Pac-12 represent and win this match for a FF berth.
