Like I said. I’m at peace with a loss, but you just hate to see numerous points go against Washington. Not only was Washington successful at all three of the challenges, but there were obvious missed calls against Washington that we couldn’t challenge. I expected Kentucky to win and be good, I hoped Washington could really give them a good match, what I did not expect was such inferior reffing that was so blatantly one-sided in outcome.

Horrible set by EMP, but Sanders makes a smart shot to get the kill.

I really hope that call makes them re-consider the challenge rule. Snyder absolutely influenced replay coming to the sport. How do BOTH refs miss that net call? I could understand if the ball touched the net. It wasn't even close. Tealer touched the TOP of the net. How do you miss that? It’s really simple too. Win your challenge, keep your challenge. 1st, there is a couple of things to consider. As it stands now, this is the call of the r2(down ref), up refs job is to follow the ball. So to say taht both miss it isn't really a thing. Note this is directed as Trojansc.
That said, bprtbone is right, win it/keep it needs to be a thing since and esp since the NCAA doesn't have international level cameras. I'm actually more of a fan of 3 per set, as is the international rule, esp since, as said, cameras aren't up to international standards.
In terms of reffing, I would also like to see a fundamental change in reffing in that I think line judges are essentially underultilized. I think tehy could actually help due to the angles they can see where neither the up or the down refs can see. VB reffing should also be team effort, and if you can get information from a line judge, I don't see why they shouldn't. Hell, I've been a line judge is high school state playoffs, I clearly saw a play exactly similar to this, but was told it wasn't my call, which to be fair to the up ref, it wasn't, but if the job of the ref is to get it right, then all information should be utilized.
