Like I said. I’m at peace with a loss, but you just hate to see numerous points go against Washington. Not only was Washington successful at all three of the challenges, but there were obvious missed calls against Washington that we couldn’t challenge. I expected Kentucky to win and be good, I hoped Washington could really give them a good match, what I did not expect was such inferior reffing that was so blatantly one-sided in outcome. Agreed. A lot of the calls were momentum calls too. It's a shame that we expect teams to improve over the season but the refs don't. This game should really be tied 2-2 and going to a 5th but I'm just glad the Huskies came out and played after everyone seem to have written them off in a Wildcat sweep. Well I dunno about 2-2, Washington did let a nice lead slip away, but I’d have like to seen them fight for the 3rd rather than the refs hand it to Kentucky. |

When you build a lead, you give yourself a buffer. If a call goes against you, volleyball gives you the ability to start from scratch on the next play. Kentucky picked it up and Washington didn't respond. Props to the Huskies though. That was more of a match than I expected. |

It was an unexpectedly great season for Washington. We made it to the Final Four, won the PAC-12, had three AAs, and had more thrilling matches than anybody has a right to enjoy. Kentucky was better, with or without the lousy refs. On to next year!

Guys once I stopped watching to go to Vb practice UW started loosing😢😢 my bad CONGRATS TO KENTUCKY!!! I’m rooting for them! OK, I will blame you from now until the Huskies next win another national title. You don't mind, do you? |
