Not just that, but their conferences are arguably the 4 toughest conferences. And overall, the selection committee pretty much nailed it when the Final Four are the #1, #2, #5, and #6 seeds. Texas is the #4 seed but ya I think the committee got it pretty spot on. I think Kentucky will dispatch Washington but Wisconsin vs Texas will be a battle. If Washington were to somehow beat Kentucky...lol

Makes the playoff seedings and bracket selections even more stellar: #1, #2, #4, and #6. Only #3 failed to get in there.

If that upsets you so much then stop watching close matches idk what to tell you I watched plenty of close matches. Haven’t seen anyone act like that this season besides Callie Williams. Which was also completely out of line. Don’t scream at the other team it’s simple. Do you hold the same standard for men's sports?!?

If Thayer hall was in Wisconsin’s face and screaming at the ref would you feel the same way?

Yeah, Badgers are definitely not the underdog here. After last night, I think they clearly are. It's not that they don't have the talent or experience. This is a team that just has not played enough this year, and is being asked to ramp up quickly in a solid week of play without hardly any practice against increasingly tough competition. They just haven't seen enough different teams this year. The count is now 10. They don't have enough of the surety that battling against different comp brings. The surety that they had last year. They will have to battle through a bit of doubt through every little adjustment. Texas, on the other hand, is full of such confidence. Things will have to go very right for the badgers to win this. The badgers can battle, and they can win and win ugly, as we have seen, but to me they are a clear underdog given recent form.

Texas is my second-favorite team and I've personally admired the representation of women of color on the Longhorns for as far as I can remember (yes, it's about the best athletes and not their skin color, blah blah blah, I don't care). I don't know if my heart can take another 5-setter, but hoping the Badgers can find a way to slow down Eggleston, Fields, and the middles (I've loved Brionne since her connection with Hilley during the GYNT days).

I'm not sure we can look back to that 2018 match for any real guidance on how this match will go. Both teams are quite different now. Texas more so, but the badgers are also very different.

Something about this matchup is that Wisconsin has had Texas’ number in their last few match ups. However Texas has beat the Big Ten Champion an underdog in their last few FF appearances. So either Texas will be the undisputed big ten killer in the tournament, or Wisconsin will be own all recent matchups against Texas

You are so soft lol. Wouldn't stop posting about it last night and still can't let it go that the girls were playing with some fire and emotion. Rettke literally screamed at Florida and the ref for a ball that was clearly out. Twice. We need to stop coddling these athletes because they're women. They're allowed to become passionate, aggressive, competitive, etc. during a game. They don't have to play nice or pretty. Policing their attitudes is a little sexist in my opinion. Let Rettke stare down an opponent across the net, celebrate obnoxiously, and protest a decision made by a ref. Let the girls play.

Do you hold the same standard for men's sports?!? do you hold the same standard for other teams as you did Wisconsin ? If Thayer hall was in Wisconsin’s face and screaming at the ref would you feel the same way? You clearly have never played a competitive sport and it shows... It's part of the game and no one takes it personally other than apparently you. Get over it.

If Thayer hall was in Wisconsin’s face and screaming at the ref would you feel the same way? Would not care a bit and this is coming from a Wisconsin fan and a non-Florida fan. It actually excites me to see players get excited and show passion for the game-no matter the team. I have seen players from tons of teams show excitement (Florida and your beloved Kentucky included), so weird your only calling Wisconsin out. You are also making the specific situation wayyyy more dramatic than it probably was. Rettke was in the moment and being competitive, and in her post-match interview gave nothing but praise and respect to Florida. This conversation is quite pointless and it's pretty sad you keep posting about this. Like let it go lol.

Even the current seniors on Wisconsin would have been sophomores just starting their second season and are now much more experienced. As I wrote in a different post, that match has little to no impact on this match.

Wisconsin defense is scrappy. I’m curious how Texas will respond to that. Texas can scrap. I think the real question is how much will they need to with their outsides being so terminal.

Eggleston was like 17 and now she’s the future of USA volleyball. They’ve got Iosia back setting to the pins... sheesh. So much respect for this Longhorn team. Ugh, now I’m nervous again.
