The 9th place team and 14th place team are separated by 4 points. Crazy.

For anyone who cares, Brescia stays alive in the promotion battle to A1 by beating Pinerolo 3-2. Caught the tail end of the 5th set. Pinerolo was up like 12-8 and Brescia pulled it out 16-14. The series is now 2-1 Pinerolo, best of 5. PROMOTION PLAYOFFS FIRST ROUND (best of 3): Macerata – Soverato 0-2 (3-0, 3-0) Albese – Sassuolo 0-2 (1-3, 1-3) San Giovanni in Marignano – Martignacco 1-2 (3-1, 1-3, 1-3) Mondovì – Olbia 2-1 (2-3, 3-0, 3-2) FVG Busto Arsizio – Montecchio Maggiore 2-0 (3-0, 3-2) Talmassons – Ravenna 2-0 (3-1, 3-1) SECOND ROUND (best of 3) (a) Macerata – Sassuolo (b) Talmassons – FVG Busto Arsizio (c) Mondovì – Martignacco SEMIFINALS (best of 3) a - b c – Brescia/Pinerolo (loser)

Funny enough for Scandicci (51 points), winning this match doesn't really help them, as they're already locked into the 4th seed spot. They'll play #1, which would be Novara (60 points) if Novara can get at least 7 points in their final three matches (they've already lost chance at 1 point today). A sweep opens things up for Conegliano, who will end with 66 points. I'm unsure what the tiebreaker is, but there is a chance that both Novara and Conegliano end at 66 points with 23 wins and 3 losses. Novara still has to travel to Chieri, however. Imoco has the superior set ratio. This is not good for Novara at all. Unless they'd rather play Monza than Scandicci... which they may

2. So that would mean no Rettke for next season... hmmm Could be. I remember that when she signed for Monza, somebody said that she already had a deal with a Turkish club for 2022/23 season. We'll see.

Larson + Sylla would be an upgrade on Davyskiba/Lazovic/Gennari...
Can Folie even stay healthy?
I'm surprised imoco doesnt try to keep her

Can Folie even stay healthy? Sylla had a lot of physical issues too during this season (and the past one as well). Thompson missed the whole season. Seems that Monza likes players with injuries (don't forget about Mihajlovic, lol).

I mean, you can take the risk with one player (UYBA did it with Lucia; she pratically missed the past two seasons). But 2-3 injury-prone (starting) players... I don't know...
