well very late for the party but just watched Monza vs Novara. Seriously i think Novara's biggest problem is Hancock. I'm glad she's leaving. i read people are doubtful about Poulter/Ebrar match, i don't know much about Poulter, i just hope it works. Because Blackwolf needs a better setteerrrrrrrr I feel like Micah actually sets Ebrar well I actually agree... I think she's about the only player she connects well with besides Washington. Karakurt is also wildly inconsistent so it's not always the setters fault even though this is the perfect opportunity to place 100% of the blame in Hancock.... in this instance we'll blame her for 92% of the suckery.

Ebrar didnt meet expectations. Cate regressed. Lavarani's use of Herbots was weird. Nika (idk lol)

She's just so hot and cold.

I'd say it's a win. Also.. she learned to dig a ball this year so lets not forget that.

I haven’t watched Hancock set much this year, but I thought she did well in this match. Connection with Karakurt seemed good. Washington too obviously.
But they blew that last point when handed a free ball on a set that took a lot of options away from the hitter on the D ( I think?) with Rettke on the block. Everything had to go right for Novara at that point, so I guess somebody was likely to screw up.

She's the same as (roughly, like six months) as Haak, but she doesnt have near the impact. Expectations were maybe set too high for Novara... but considering Novara's performance with Smarzek/whoever last year... I think they were warranted (still made the finals of the league and the semifinals of the CL) Lavarini should probably take a fair share of the blame. #FrontRowCate has its hand in every one of Novara's losses.
