My b, phone autocorrect. “late” not “last”. Daalderop took over for the last month. Herbots was fairly good earlier and won Serie A MVP (though I would’ve given it to Egonu, Wolosz, or Bosetti), but Hancock over relied on her and she’d become erratic. She’s also a bit shorter than Daalderop and I think can’t take the OOS swings as well, which the OHs have to do because of the Smarzek mess.

no. But I think Carlini can set her better than Hancock will. Carlini spent a whole season running all over Turkey with THY's passing... imagine she gets to set with Bosetti holding down the line. ok fine. but she's now known as Karabear I liked it when someone called her Sauerkraut. I fell on the floor at that one. Though, that's a bit mean lol

I don’t think Hill and Adams/Sylla are behind Bosetti and Daalderop/Herbots?? I would take the Imoco OHs in a heartbeat over Novara’s. They may have scored fewer points, but that’s entirely because Egonu > Smarzek so Egonu gets every ball she can, keeping Imoco’s OH attempts down. That and Hancock throws it to the left when she's not hitting the ball on two most plays.

It seems like most teams will be retaining many of their domestic players and several of their starting foreigners. Heck, teams like Chieri are barely changing at all.

Orro had better get her running shoes on. Monza has all but officially signed Mihajlović and Lazović to go with A. Gennari and H. Davyskiba at Outside Hitter. Who's gonna pass?! Good think Stysiak is a garbage disposal and will hopefully bail the team out of tough spots. I feel for the teams middles. Oof.

Novara isn't just banking on Karakurt. They are also looking at signing Rosamaria also. I think between the two of them that will be a better pairing than Smarzek and Zanette were. Zanette is rumored to be joining Chieri to be paired with/back up for Grobelna.

Rosamaria has signed with Novara for next season
I feel better now about the Karakurt signing and this news. Novara should be better next season with Rosamaria and Karakurt (and Smarzek gone).

Karakurt was officialized yesterday and Novara's patron looks overconfident, he said Novara is going to take all the trophies lol. "This new Novara is the strongest we've ever had as a roster in any role. And the main advantage starts from an already cohesive group, from the players to the staff of Mr. Lavarini. We'll fill the gap with Conegliano, next season we will win everything, last year I never said it, I was happy to reach the final. In any case, the transfer window is not over yet". www.volleynews.it/leonardi-sara-la-igor-piu-forte-di-sempre-colmiamo-il-gap-con-conegliano/
If the Monza transfer news is true, they will certainly give Novara a run for their money.

Not if the team can't pass. None of their OH's are decent passers and Mihajlović isn't as terminal as in the past. Stysiak is going to have to carry Monza and that won't be enough to beat Novara or Conegliano.
