I gotta say, this has been one of the most satisfying postseasons for me - and maybe it's because I didn't expect for Nebraska to be one of the two teams remaining. That's no knock to this squad, but after all of the ups and downs this year PLUS the fact that competition was so tough (literally I felt like all Elite 8 and some Sweet 16 teams had a chance to win the title), I was going to be happy with a Regional Final appearance. But holy crap. I can't help but smile when I think about this team. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, what a season. And what a standard this freshman class has set for themselves. AND ANOTHER THING. I fully believe that the match at Wisconsin was the turning point for this team. I think taking that first set off Wisconsin made this team realize what they have to do to win at a high level.

I forgot about Miller from 2018. So as close as she still is with some of them. Will she be in Columbus on Saturday?

FWIW, the long-sleeve red uniforms are undefeated at the National Semifinals.
2015: 3-0 vs Texas 2017: 3-2 vs Penn State 2017: 3-1 vs Florida 2018: 3-2 vs Illinois 2021: 3-1 vs Pitt

We're making the long drive to Columbus lol. This is one of the VERY FEW times where I don't think I'll be that upset if we lose (unless we're like up 2-0 or big lead in 5th or something hahahaha) and I'll have to process for a week if we win. GBR This. Thinking seriously about it myself. Any hints on finding tickets? I've been poking around on the source linked from the NCAA site and not having much luck finding decent seats yet. Any tips on preferred seats? Knowledge of which side Husker bench will be? I just bought off of the ncaa site. My thinking, hopefully, is that once game starts we'll spot some seats lower that are unused and move down

The biggest difference in the last two weeks imho has been Nicklin. She's back. She plays like how she's been playing, Huskers can win.

In any case, my wife can't go and I think my fevered insanity has passed. It's going to be best all around for me to watch from home--with her.

I have been very critical of her setting in the past, but I have to say that she has been excellent the last two matches. Not just her leadership, competitiveness, defensive magic, and grit, but her set location, consistency, and decision making. I have questioned many times why Orr wasn’t playing. Well, I was very wrong. Kudos to the coaches and to Nicklin. She has been outstanding. Now go win that Natty!

The Women of Corn have had better setters in the past, but few could match her guts. Great defensive player - I think someone here described her as a libero playing setter - and she is tough as nails.

IMO

No. But she is the best setter for Nebraska this year and the years preceding that. I’m glad that she’s doing her thing and helping the Huskers towards a title.
