have you seen any of us UK fans saying this would be a sweep or easy for us? No. Kentucky is not getting any respect from Texas fans which is what we are defending and pointing out. Respect is earned. Kentucky has a chance to earn that respect tomorrow. So you only respect teams that have won a NC? |

is making the finals having dropped only one set not worth of respect ? Tough crowd. This crowd has long memories. so hypothetically if Uk drops a tough 5 setter 15-13 is that not worthy of respect ? |

Good analysis. But I wouldn't say the setting advantage is "huge". Lilley is the best setter in college, hands down. But I would put Gabriel up in the top 5. She has come into her own this year and is rock solid all around. Connecting with middles, good location & tempo, puts up very hittable OOS balls, great floor d, spreads the ball around. But at the end of the day, great MBs win chamionships. UT in 4. oh. I can’t have a debate with you anymore after you just declaring Gabriel to be a top 5 setter. I have commented on her very good growth as a player and she is a good setter. To call her top 5 is insane and I think reasonable Texas fans will agree. Lilley is a 4 time all American and NPOY. Disrespectful to say that the gap isn’t large. She certainly out-set Hilley last night |

OH NO YOU DIDN’T! LMAO... you trying to give @madden54 and donut an aneurism? For the record Lilley is not over-rated she is ELITE IMHO and the reason Kentucky is in the position they are in. Elite setters make their hitters better and without Lilley those hitters become good solid hitters and not dangerous hitters that make AA teams. |
