If Texas can't win something is wrong, they have two of the best coaches in the world and the most physical athletes in the nation and a head coach doing his best Laurel of Laurel and Hardy impression... in the world?

You're right. Jerritt isn't anywhere near close to Volpe or McGuyre.

What criteria are we using to measure the leader of an organization? Is a CEO outstanding if the share price of their company keeps going up dramatically? Or is it the well being of the employees? Or EBITDA? Or what?
Is a leader of a political party measured by their party being in power? Or the well being of the citizens? Or the amount of legislation passed?
How is a HC of a college program supposed to be measured? Because for all the flack that Jerriot Elliot gets, it sometimes shocks me that he manages to bumble his way to any sort of success whatsoever. And yet by some superficial measurements I think most sports observers could easily ascertain, he'd be considered to be doing pretty well.

I judge by the way the players run and hug him after a big win. And that happens a lot.

Well, I have to say that there have been plenty of coaches players loved playing for, that I was glad to see go somewhere else. It's like the whole "run a clean program, recruit great kids, and help them graduate." Okay. But that's not going to get you job security. One thing gets you job security. If you don't do that then all the big hugs in the world won't keep you from getting shown the door.

Well thats not actually correct now is it?! You want to clarify? I don't know which part of that post is not actually correct in your mind, so if you'd help me out I'd be appreciative. I will try: just one example: in system scoring: you said: texas is better than Kentucky. Well in system Kentucky is actually a little better. And is actually in system more than Texas: which means texas must counter that advantage buy being equal to Kentucky on in system numbers: or defend Kentucky's in system offense with blocking or transition counter attack scoring!

It's not very often that Texas faces a team that is more left-pin dependent than itself. If those 4 hitters all produce equally well tonight, then I'd like Texas' chances to win due to their ability to get much greater production from their two middle blockers.
