Sounds like Mel is probably DS-ing for Skylar. Also, Jhenna seems like she still has the reigns setting. That seemed like the most likely substitution pattern, at least early on in the season. Makes sense to keep Skylar on the left for now especially if she can continue her dominance from the NCAA tournament from the spring. Fields and Eggleston honestly really compliment each other well on the outside.

Oh of course! It would be a crime to bench her! One thing that really impressed me about Molly last season was the way she would hit line so comfortably.

would love to see if Molly’s blocking on the right can improve and get more dominant.

Texas is very good. I would like to know if both teams played mostly their starters the whole time. If they did I was expecting more from LSU. I think they have top 10 talent. Those set scores weren’t very close. Sigh.

Especially without context. They could have been up something like 24-18 and then lost 3 points before finishing it.

Those set scores weren’t very close. Sigh. the Texas release says they used "a variety of different players and lineups". I'd imagine LSU did the same? This is why I want a stats sheet...someone with a volleymetrics account or something hit me up.
