(Looking for Thumbs Down icon) Boney should be a good addition. They need Paige to be more like Paige and everyone else to be a little better. If that happens, they might end up around the bottom of the middle of the B1G.

If the setter is racking up all those digs, then who's setting the ball?

If the setter is racking up all those digs, then who's setting the ball? I do think it's hard for a team to win matches when the setter is one of the top two digging. I'd be interested in the other's opinions. I enjoyed watching the recent USA U20 team. In their first couple of matches, when they appeared most organized, it seemed clear the coaches had given them firm directions along the line of "If at all humanly possible, what ever you do, DON'T let the setter dig a ball!"

I hadn't included their Libero Grant, who led the way with 214 digs. So technically Jones nosed ahead of the setter for second place on the team by a singular dig, 123 to 122. 4th and 5th place are front row players as well, and then DS Beals leads all DSs (non Libero) at 6th place in digs. Must have a lot of front row players that don't sub out. Not sure if that's a good thing (OHs are really good at D), or a bad thing (DSs are really struggling). Maybe a combo of both.

Full schedule is finally up! Press release here. Not all times and home locations finalized yet but it's nice to see them start out at Crisler; hopefully we get a healthy slate there. LSU and Florida State is a decent start with UNC the following weekend, not too tough beyond that in the non-con. Go Blue!

4 mid-level ACC teams for Michigan. Interesting.

Has Eastern Michigan ever peeled a W off of the Wolverines?
The archives for each school only goes back to 2001, and EMU has only mustered a singular set over that entire time period.

A barely audible Mark Rosen shares some curious news in the latest Rosen Report: the new Taraflex floor will be installed at...Crisler Center? Despite earlier hopes of a majority of matches being held at Crisler this season, only five ended up getting scheduled while the rest of the home matches will be at hot and cramped Cliff Keen. Not a great sales pitch for future recruits when most of our B1G neighbors are showing off brand new digs. There's no promise that the Taraflex will even get to in Ann Arbor in time for their home opener against Duke on Septmeber 10 so the new floor is going to see very limited action. This young Michigan team will be challenged bouncing back and forth between gyms and surfaces. Coach Rosen does his best to put a positive spin on this, but it's another disappointment for the development of the program.

Hopefully Boney works out. Fantasy needs her to provide a big impact.

Y'all are getting a player I've seen a lot of over the past few months.
Morgan Burke, 2023 setter from Nebraska Elite.
