Brent Crouch is truly the definition of failing upward. If that man has a job leading into the next season I would be SHOCKED but then again it is Auburn He’s only two years into what is certainly a multi-year contract. There isn’t an AD in the country that would spend that much money to buy out a coach. |

The players literally quit on the team last seaeson. Not surprising they have a pretty empty roster. Brent Crouch is truly the definition of failing upward. Nollan should have gotten the USC job over Crouch. |

Brent Crouch is truly the definition of failing upward. Nollan should have gotten the USC job over Crouch. Not sure the Senior Associate AD at the time really gave a damn. |

Could someone with one year left graduate then take a year off and not be enrolled in any college. and then go to get their masters and play a year somewhere? I believe Chiaka Ogbogu took a season off for academic reasons and didn't lose a year of eligibility. Don't know if that applies to the scenario you're referring to. |

She was still an undergraduate and took off a season of volleyball, but was still a full-time student at Texas; so, she basically used her redshirt season. |

Are you sure it was Ac Pro, and it wasn’t her parents who voluntarily pulled her from volleyball to get her grades back up? She didn’t lose a year, she still played 4 seasons in 5 years. |

Hornshouse is stating what I recall from the discussion at the time. There was conversation applauding her decision to prioritize academics and get herself onto solid footing before returning to volleyball.
