I’m flying in for the tournament this weekend. Any recommendations on bars/restaurants close to campus?? If it's not sold out, the Graduate is amazing. Where were you during the match thread? Could use some support. This weekend has helped me manage my expectations for the season. The coaching staff played all 4 OH's in both matches. I know Russ won't do this, but I'd be tempted to play Anjelina Starck in every match this season so she's primed for next season. Pritchard, Rollins, Fitzpatrick, and Kudryashova are just not consistent enough. Parker is doing it all, and that's not tenable. |

Pritchard, Rollins, Fitzpatrick, and Kudryashova are just not consistent enough. Parker is doing it all, and that's not tenable. I haven't posted in match threads in like 8 years. I think there's a good chance this team could end up unranked in the not too distant future. Maybe not tomorrow, but not too far off from now. Never imagined we'd get to this point while Rose was still here. |

While disappointed with this weekend's results, I'm certain of one thing: Russ Rose led teams always get better as the season wears on. On the bright side, Nebraska lost at home to Utah in 5. That's always cause for celebration. Sorry, not sorry, Husker fans.   |

That's always cause for celebration. Sorry, not sorry, Husker fans. We've lost to every good team we've played so far, including choking away 2 match points vs. Stanford. If it's as simple as "losing to teams ranked higher," well... we've got a LOT more losses left on this schedule. And I'm sure we drop some matches we have no business dropping. No, we do not always get better as the season goes on. We may, and I hope we do, but that's not a guarantee. But, yes, anytime Nebraska loses it helps. Just very annoyed at some of the other teams ahead of us. |
