Meaning more than likely signs are pointing to him being done ? I think he probably is just based on all those players transferring. I get they were in 5th years most but I’ve never seen that many walk away from Russ who are starters. Either way I think psu needs to reset their roster and go young and rebuild with new coach. Question is how long to they delay announcement. I think they need to jump on it as soon as they can for recruiting. I get maybe not wanting to disturb tourney but after this is over I wouldn’t wait too long |

Did anyone ask why he would be leaving PSU after just signing a four year contract extension? It's not uncommon for older coaches to sign contract extensions even if they may be retiring soon, as it looks better for recruits. |

Something seemed off with all those starters going into portal even know a few were in that bonus year. You just don’t see that many starters just leave psu like that

End of an era. Sad in a way. It is but I think he’s making the right call. It was def his call to make. He earned it but sometimes you see people stay too long and has adverse effect. I think he’s making the right call I’ve thought for a few years now psu program needs a reset. |

Has there been any sightings of Rose in Columbus ? Haven’t heard anything. Nobody even knows if this stepping down thing is true. The fact that no one has shot it down is what’s giving it some credibility. If he is indeed leaving I want to be excited about future of program again. That’s why I think it needs to be the right hire that injects energy into psu fanbase. You need the balance of a name that excites but also someone who can draw recruits. How about Chris Tamas. He's still pretty young, seems to be a pretty good coach. I'm not certain about the recruiting, but with the Penn State brand he might be able to land some top recruits. |

His contributions to volleyball as a whole go beyond his national titles. I got chicken skin listening to Nicole Fawcett say, “He said you if listen to me, I’ll make you great. And he did.” AMAZING! |

I think for the sake of Penn State and I'm sure their fans feel the same way too. It's Fisher or bust... I can't imagine they wouldn't go after an established coach.
