QUESTION... Is Lauren Clark in the mix for the fall? I haven't seen her play a ton and now two OH's have transferred in. Aren’t both starting OHs returning along with Rollins and the other transfer? Clark has been put in a few times but she’s struggled since graduating high school with the bigger block, I don’t see her taking a starting spot at psu Actually, this is incorrect. Clark struggled with her block timing this season (her hitting was OK), that's why she was yanked. |

There are a lot of problems with this team, and this isn't 2007-2014.

Starck is much closer to the pin hitters PSU has recruited post 2014 than pre 2014. Just because she was Gatorade POY doesn’t mean she’s the next Hodge, Fawcett, McClendon etc. Pritchard and Rollins can push the LS for Penn State high enough to compete for a natty next year, I don’t think any other OH’s on the PSU roster can quite get there next year. I think both Starck and ACF could use a good red shirt year. And come out guns blazing in 2022, which PSU will surely need from them (pending transfers, which, at this point, we should just expect....may as well put PSU in the same league as the Nebraska’s and Missouri’s of the world... multiple transfers like every year). |
