I know he looks 14, but let’s refrain from calling him a kid - it’s a bit demeaning. That said, he would be a great hire but from what I can tell he has a better job right now. The world has gone insane when someone actually takes offense to "kid", a term applied to people 1 to 91 years old. I think it's offensive you say he looks 14, that's demeaning. Heck, maybe I was using the term "kid" to refer to a goat, which has become the term for the greatest of all-time. So while I appreciate you standing sentry on the PC task force, I meant nothing wrong and will tell that to Brad the next time I cross his path. And yes, he would be the perfect hire, especially with his previous ties to the university. I don't know the details of where he is at now, but personally I can't immediately see what at Vanguard would be better than being at Concordia. It seems like a nice step up to play matches at a higher skill level. I'm sure there are strong points to each of those jobs. Ultimately, it's his opinion that matters, if he's even in the conversation. At this juncture it's all speculation. If he went to Concordia, it would be a wonderful change of culture for the program. Every coaching style has its merits and its shortcomings, and change can be healthy at times. Watching a senior-laden Concordia team not have a consistent lineup this season and have players run hot and cold all year long, when compared to other senior-rich teams that were consistent, says something about the team chemistry and culture. Getting Brad behind the clipboard would result is some kids blossoming into talented players. You put an insane amount of energy into assuming someone was trying to get “PC” on you. Like an INSANE amount lol.

The University website job posting is now available for applicants.
I can read between the lines and see they are looking for a coach with a different approach/interpersonal skills.

Seems like with the SoCal Cup showcase last weekend where toms of coaches attended, CUI will be at a big disadvantage to recruit.
Nationals is the 1st week of July. You would think they would have filled the job by now.
It would also be odd they don’t lose any starters to transfer to a more stable situation.

Unless Gary Sato, Joshua Walker or Milan apply and get the job. They were there.

If the new Coach comes in and keeps the 24+ player rosters, it’s an institutional mandate from the school they are tuition driven rosters. If not, Patchell may have had a bonus built into his compensation package that was tied to roster size.
