I must say, I really liked the commentator duo for the final match. I feel like they complement each other well, and the energy was great.

Can’t forget about her saying “Japanada” during the Japan/Canada match either 😂

Ah, there’s the classic Bruno-Lucas connection we haven’t seen much today Brazil's win was very good, they gave Poland a whooping - but yes, Lucas was very quiet. I just loved watching him for his expressions though -- too bad he had a mask on. But imagine if they have that connection going come Olympic time. They will be scary good! As for the USA, I don't think we have the goods to match up with Brazil. Aaron Russell is too big of a loss - Defalco (who looks like his replacement), doesn't bring as much as Russell does. But you never know. We'll see how the USA looks in a month. The toughest teams on the men's side will probably be Brazil, Russia and Poland. I thought Poland had a pretty formidable lineup that's deep and hard to beat. But Brazil, they are just a well oiled machine. And if they are in trouble, like the commentator said, they can just go high ball old Cuban style and Leal will more than likely put that ball away. He is so fun to watch as well! The men's VNL final was for sure a fun match to watch!

However, you could argue that the USA has not showed the level of execution or consistency required to beat Brazil. There's still time though! But honestly they'll have to be on top of their serving game because giving a whole set of errors to Brazil is not going to cut it.

Does anyone know why Kurek and Wallace were wearing different colored jerseys in the first set?

Does anyone know why Kurek and Wallace were wearing different colored jerseys in the first set? It was for a gender equality initiative, and had both their names and the names of a female player on the back.

Here's the VNL Dream Team MVP/Best Opposite: Wallace, Kurek (Co-MVPs) Libero: Thales Middles: M. Souza, Bieniek OHs: Leal, Kubiak S: Drzyzga
Drzyzga is an interesting choice to say the least.

They both shared the MVP and Best Opposite titles. Which I thought was slightly odd I’ve never heard of that happening before. They honestly should’ve just named Wallace as the sole MVP and both of them share the Best Opposite award but I guess Kurek’s stats in the final round were too good haha.
