Seems like a very capable backup to Stucky for 1 year. Saw some video of her in the D2 NCAA regional and she ran a fast paced offense and had very consistent location.

Don't know how she'll look at the SEC level but barring injury, we're not likely to see Stuckey off the court so one might never know.

Have we talked about our starting lineup recently? I doubt much has changed in anyone's mind.
Who do we see as our 6 rotation pin? Right now, I'd give the nod to Dixon because she has the most experience in this area.
With Canaan, Cornier, Hoyle (pending injury) and Adams, we will have the deepest DS corp by quality and quantity since 2014.
Can Fitzpatrick crack the lineup by supplanting a DS in the back row? Could her back row attack give the Gators that extra offensive oomph?
Okammor will likely earn the nod replacing Kelley to start the season, but Thomas may prove to be the more electric attacker and take her spot like Kelley did over Dooley in 2021.
S: Stucky 6'2 RS: Martin 6'6 (Cornier/Fitzpatrick) OH: Victoria 6'1 (Canaan) OH: Dixon 6'3 MB: Essix 6'3 MB: Okammor 6'4 (Adams serving sub) L: McKissock
Servers: 1. Stucky 2. Martin/Fitzpatrick 3. Canaan 4. Dixon 5. Adams 6. McKissock

Still would never understand why she did not pull her out of the Pitt game. Hopefully the team puts it all together by the time the fall season comes around, because it sounds like the spring season was definitely a headache.

Sometimes I feel like Mary is the type of person that just lets players in when they’re struggling just for %*$#s & giggles. It’s not the worst thing if we’re dominating in a match to see if a player can turn it around. But she does it ALL the time. Sometimes players just have BAD games, but for some reason she continues to let them have horrible games..

Sometimes players just have BAD games, but for some reason she continues to let them have horrible games.. Looking back on some games via ESPN app to see what UF is lacking. Was hoping that after a poor offensive spring with setter-hitter connections that they may be able rely on defense as the offense gets work during preseason practices. After watching and rewatching, there does not seem to be a “system”. McKissock was often is a bad position. Cannan and Adams were often in a good position but didn’t make the contact. Middles were late to close the block (so could be why the back row had issues at times). Then again, there were some matches that they all look legit. If anyone has access to the team data, please share - both game and practice data. I would love to see if the coach decisions are data driven or gut feeling.

I didn't say she should necessarily be starting, but having a DS on your roster who has a year of passing experience at this level certainly adds to depth. We can hope her quality, which can be inconsistent, hasn't regressed.
