The stats for BYU vs High Point are flipped, but BYU appears headed for a sweep. Gneiting, Eschenberg and Livingston have 8 kills each, and Koerber has 7. BYU is hitting .323. LMU swept Navy -20, -18, -22. Geissberger had 14 kills at .357. Klemp had 11 kills at .562 (She has matches where she makes almost no errors, and then a few matches where she disappears). Booth had 12 kills at .276 LMU is 6-1 on the season. Utah State is up 2-1 on Saint Mary's but SMC leads 16-13 in the fourth set. CSU Bakersfield is up 2-1 on San Francisco Yeah, BYU won the match -17, -19, -17. Callahan also had six kills, and Grimmer had a pretty good match with four kills on .287 hitting in two sets. Judging by the stats, it also looks like Allen was back as the libero, as she had 12 digs, four assists and an ace. |

So I didn't see it, but according to Zazu, Allen got swapped out for Reinert at some point during the match. Seems like Allen just had a bad match. |

USF down 10-20 in the fourth set and about to lose 1-3.
The remaining WCC matches of USD vs SDSU and LMU vs Liberty today should easily be WCC sweeps.

I didn't realize that San Diego beat UCLA Thursday night. That's a very good win for the Toreros and also for the WCC.

I didn't realize that San Diego beat UCLA last night. That's a very good win for the Toreros and also for the WCC. It was on Thursday, and San Diego was playing without Lukes, so it was an excellent win for the Toreros! |

LMU won 3-1 over Liberty.
San Diego won 3-1 over SDSU. It looks like Emily Wilson played briefly at OH and then was replaced by Hester, who had more success. Still no Lukes

Still no Lukes I don’t know what happened there. Wilson only had one attempt. The other night she struggled mightily, was like -.350 during the 2nd set, USD stuck with her and she ended up 14 kills at .146 (which exactly matched the team average). Hester got the call when Lukes went down and t did not go well. She was very effective tonight. Pries looks like the rising star right now. |

WCC went 6-3 on Saturday after going 4-8 on Friday and 1-2 on Saturday, so they are 11-13 on the week with 2 matches still to be played today. Santa Clara takes on Auburn at 11:30am PT and Pepperdine finishes their tournament against Cal Poly at 5pm PT. The Santa Clara match was added after New Orleans had to cancel their match earlier in the week against Auburn due to COVID Hurricane Ida issues. Santa Clara d. Clemson, 3-1 Pacific d. I missed that. Who was libero in the previous match? So I didn't see it, but according to Zazu, Allen got swapped out for Reinert at some point during the match. Seems like Allen just had a bad match. Not just a bad match, Allen has had a disappointing start to the season. She's passing just a 1.93 so far this year with a 47% GP rate. Reinert and McComber haven't been much better at 47% and 44% but the worst passer has been Kenzie Koerber, with a grade of 1.88 and just a 35% GP rate. |
