This is a fascinating day of volleyball. USF up 9-6 over BYU in the third.
Santa Clara up 9-4 over San Diego in the first.
Pepp vs LMU now tied at 30...as intense a matchup as we all expected when we debated which team was actually superior!
I haven't turned on any of the streams yet, but San Diego currently has 1 kill and 5 errors...what the heck?

That was brutal for LMU. They could not buy a serve when they needed one. Pepperdine showing a lot of guts in that set.

As for the other matches, BYU has taken a 16-12 3rd set lead over San Francisco with Tayler Hifo serving. They are getting some good production from their middles finally. Gneiting .471 (9/1/17), Eschenberg .400 (6/2/10).
Pacific has evened the match against Gonzaga 1-1 after a deuce win, 25-23, in set 2. They are leading set 3, 15-11 as well.
Saint Mary's is trying to go up 2-1 on Portland leading 18-15 in the 3rd set.

This is a very off match for Megan Rice...9 kills, 7 errors hitting .091.
On the other side of the court, Meg Brown is having a very bad day with 3 kills, 6 errors (-.273)

San Diego is rallying from their initial 1 kill to 5 errors, and now is hitting a nice round 0. Nonetheless, they now take the 14-13 lead at Santa Clara.
Pacific leads 15-11 in the third set over Gonzaga.
Saint Mary's has come back to take the lead 18-15 in the third over Portland.
