Looks like they have moved next week's Saturday match between BYU and Gonzaga up an hour if the schedule is accurate. It's showing a start time of 12pm MDT. I'm assuming it has to do with the football game starting at 1:30pm. They have been using that parking lot for official football parking this year, unlike in year's past. Better be somewhere to park for volleyball fans.

Yeah, I think I'll skip going in person for that one.

I've been to a few 1pm matches in the past 5 years that had a football match the same day at 12pm. They were never an issue because I missed both the traffic before and after the football game and parking was not a problem either. Post-match traffic won't be an issue, but this could be a challenge, especially with the parking situation being different now.

So it looks like the big lot by the Indoor Practice Facility (9 on the map) that is also close to the Smith Fieldhouse requires a Cougar Club pass. But there are other parking lots on the map (the ones in green) that are designated as "free gameday parking," so I would guess that volleyball fans can park there.

Fortunately, I think I can just forgo work that morning and go really early. With it being such a big football game and already sold out, if you can't get there early, it's going to be hard for those just going to the volleyball game. Hopefully lots of football attendees will come to the match before the game starts.

Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount both having tough matches tonight. Maybe some mental fatigue from Saturday's match. Loyola Marymount is down 0-2 at Saint Mary's. They are leading 24-21 in the 3rd. Pepperdine has split the first 2 sets with Pacific. They won the 1st, 25-21, and lost the 2nd, 20-25. They are tied at 9 in the 3rd.

Loyola Marymount avoids the upset for now, taking the 3rd set at Saint Mary's, 25-21. Pepperdine has now built a 5-point lead 15-10 in the 3rd set against at Pacific.

Pepperdine wins the 3rd set at Pacific, 25-22, to go up 2-1 on the Tigers. San Diego closes out the sweep against Gonzaga with a 25-18 3rd set win.
Loyola Marymount has found their stride and is running away with the 4th set, 21-12, behind Kari Geissberger's blocking and serving.
