Not sure what was happening in the first 2 sets for LMU, but they easily won set 4, 25-13, to force a deciding 5th set. They looked completely in control in that set.

It was tied 5 all in the 5th set, but LMU has built a 6-point lead, 11-5.
Saint Mary's gets 2 points after the TO to close to 11-7. They had an overpass, but can't put it away and then dump a 3rd ball into the net. Missed opportunity there. 12-7 LMU
LMU with some sloppy play and calls TO after losing 2 points in a row. 12-9 LMU

Geissberger kills ends it, 15-10. LMU comes back to win 3-2 at Saint Mary's.
Pacific is trying to push Pepperdine to a 5th set. Pepperdine called TO trailing 12-17.

Not sure what is going on with LMU. They are still competitive, but I feel like they have regressed a little bit since the beginning of the season.

In the Portland/BYU match, Ballard-Nixon led all scorers with 13 kills, 3 errors, on 21 swings, for a .476. Koerber hit .600 with 9/0/15. They had Abbey Dayton play back row for her at the end of set 2, and she only played back row in set 3, with Kate Grimmer playing front row. Gneiting & Eschenberg had 6 kills each, Livingston 5, and Bower, 4. I like the way Bower has incorporated different kinds of dumps into her game this year, not just the power (catch-and)-throw down.
Charity Bradley got the start for Portland and hit .214 (4/1/14). Jayde Harris also had 4 kills but hit -.222 (4/8/18).

Pacific is fun to watch. They are really battling. They had an early lead, but it's all tied up at 6 just in time for a challenge by Pacific. How long will this one be? Can Pacific finally win one?
