23-20 for Pacific, looking to close it out in four sets at LMU.
Rose Booth gets a kill hitting in the middle after a long rally. Pacific 23-21
Booth serves two aces in a row, one off the tape. 23s
Kumanova LS attack goes long, but touch called. Pac 24-23. Called is being challenged by LMU
I can't tell from the replay one way or the other. Call stands. Match point for Pacific.

Megan Rice 1st blocked back onto LMU's side, they get it up and set her again. Shallow set. Hits it hard into the block. Blocked. Pacific wins 26-24 and 3-1.
LMU outhit Pacific .200 (47/21/130) to .182 (49/25/132). They also outblocked them 8-4. LMU had 18 service errors though. They served 7 aces, but Pacific had 9 aces on just 11 errors. Pacific had 52 digs to LMU's 47.

These announcers 😐. “Setters have to jump a certain way”. LHE and Chelsea Goodman in the crowd. Nice. Chelsea Goodman is one of the former players that I actually know from when I was in college. She was really good.

Kennedy "Eye"schenberg and Kate "Grime"er. I feel better about messing up peoples' names. How does someone mess up Grimmer's name? Well, I guess you explained how they said it, but that's a really easy name to pronounce.

At least he figured out she isn't Gretchen Reinert by her second kill. Neither had any idea that Grimmer was a starter last year and saw plenty of action last year. Starter? Grimmer was on the All-WCC First Team. I guess they didn't know that Grimmer had 24 kills in two matches against Gonzaga last year.

That would be expecting a lot from these two who clearly had not done their homework or enough of it prior to the broadcast. I thought at first it was just jitters, but it became clear very quickly that other than gushing over practically every play, they had little to contribute to the broadcast. I hope for their sakes they realize they need to be better prepared the next time they go on air. I did appreciate their enthusiasm for the play-making, but it got old very quickly.

Well San Francisco did win a set this time around, but still loses to Santa Clara, 3-1 (25-22, 25-17, 21-25, 25-16). They are down to their last two home matches against Portland and Gonzaga next week. Those matches are realistically their last two shots at winning a match this season, since they play at Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, and Saint Mary's to end the season.
bayarea , I've got to work on my timing. I always seem to post the same thing right after you.
