It seems like this is not Portland's first problems with Covid cancellations....was that back in the Spring?

It's unfortunate for all involved.

Edit:  I believe Portland was supposed to play at Santa Clara on Saturday for SCU's Senior Day... it seems like that will be scuttled.  How unfortunate for the Santa Clara seniors!

Santa Clara is crushing Gonzaga -16, -12 in the first two sets.   Broncos hitting .462 to Gonzaga's .092.
(If McKenna Marshall had stayed at USF instead of transferring to Gonzaga, would SF had won a match or two this season?  Maybe not, as she's hitting -.750 in this match.)

BYU cruised to a 25-15 first set over Pepperdine, but the second set is closer with BYU up 19-15....BYU takes it 25-17, showing that they are by far the best team in the WCC this season.

Santa Clara completes the easy sweep of Gonzaga, -16, -12, -17. Shaffer had 15 kills hitting .522. Sangiacomo had 13 kills hitting .500
Santa Clara hit .429 for the match and Gonzaga hit .143

What is Gonzaga going to look like next season with a new coach?  Likely not better...

BYU is demolishing Pepperdine, winning the first two sets -15, 17, and now up 22-7 in the third. 😳😳

The third set (BYU vs. Pepperdine) ended 25-8...that's crazy. Pepperdine was in the top 25 for most of this season and has the national player of the week on their side of the net. BYU is looking really good.
