I mean ill hope for the best, i just didn’t think he looked that competitive the times he did come in to play. If he’s gotten stronger then cool, i just don’t think there is anything that he’s done that puts him ahead of anyone, i think Opp is wide open I think some of us Hawaii fans (myself included) get overly excited about foreign recruits. I mean, Hawaii's history with foreign recruits include the only POYs, and multiple AA awards. From UV, Costas, Azenha, Umlauf, Sedore, Siki, SVT, and Rado, Hawaii's international players have panned out. Costas doesn't count, didn't he get busted for cheating and cost UH a national title?

Costas played as an amateur with pros in a tournament. He took no money (did not get paid) but at that time it was against the rules for men's volleyball even though other NCAA sports athletes are allowed to play with pros - golf is a perfect example. At that time NCAA golfers could entered tournaments and play with pros and as long as they didn't get paid they would keep their amateur status. I believe the NCAA has changed that unfair rule since then.

Even Barnett told Sunderland during the Men's Championship that it was bogus asterisk for the 2002 championship. If I'm not mistaken, they took the NCAA championship away from Hawaii, but the MPSF upheld Costa's stats or something.

There's a train of thought that if UH hired a lawyer and wanted to appeal, we would win. I know the school is poor but they should do it.

damn yall, why does thelle need all this muscle for? lol jk, I would still like to see him in a 6-2 with Buchanan. When the subs run out, hopefully its Thelle still out on the floor. I'm not quite sure what you mean here? You could run the double sub. But the only 6-2 you could run would be with the setters setting when they're back row and hitting as opposites when they're front row. They'd never leave the court. You don't get subs like in the NCAA women's game.

I think it's 6. 1 for a full rotation isn't bad though.

No it's 6 and a player can only enter the game once. That's why serving subs only enter once usually at the end of sets.
