Nice. Just based off schedules released so far maybe the home tournament is Loyola, Byu/GCU, Penn State? Would be a nice rpi non-conf boost. Actually looks like Loyola is coming for two matches, not a tournament. Still great matches. Lewis x2 like you said is confirmed. Plenty holes in the Jan/Feb dates. We can probably speculate 100% by now who's on the schedule if they were to play out the max 18 non-conf matches.

UH will be an above average squad this year not nearly as good as years past. Wade wants to build confidence early in the season by playing a bunch of absolutely atrocious volleyball teams.

I think it’s only two matches, Feb. 18 & 20. I believe the UH basketball teams have hogged all the Saturdays at the SSC until mid-March, so the MVB team couldn’t schedule any pre-season tournaments because the basketball teams took all the Saturdays, unless Feb. 19 was given up.

Why do people talk like this? These are programs trying to develop. If West Coast kids would branch out instead of being one of 20+ players on a West Coast School roster, a lot of these programs would be great.

Maybe he's just trying to grow the game and show that there are other programs out there other than the ones that everyone knows of from the big conferences. Up until recently I didn't even know about Kentucky State Men's Volleyball. Always degrading Hawaii volleyball. 😑

IF UH is above average, then what does that make USC? 😂

Maybe something personal. Only BYU/Grand Canyon left for mpsf. 2x @byu and 2x @gcu would be a a decent schedule but not great compared to others. I doubt it happens but you never know.

IF UH is above average, then what does that make USC? 😂 USC will be dead atrocious like usual... Doesnt change the fact that UH will suffer a big dropoff this year

Mediocrity year after year happens when you have Jeff Nygaard in charge of your program. I just personally think Hawaii is losing way too much and the guys replacing those key positions arent the same caliber of players. Sheward cant pass Enriques couldn't start at GCU passing is going to be an issue unless Charlie has enough trust in Sharp

Would it change your view of this UH team if they were to sweep the series? Not a knock on the USC program but I heard Mr. Sam Kobrine is pretty good. And he's listed as a setter/outside/opp?. You don't think he's an impact for the USC program to at least finish top 3 in the mpsf? They have seasoned veterans and a proven setter. I dont know why you're so harsh on this incoming team since they return so much...
