So it seems like Karch is set on the right side with JT/Drews.
It's still early, but it's looking that way.

I swear Chi’s serve is worse than before lmao, she keeps tossing it behind her head It's only one rotation. We still have five others where we could potentially score points. Seriously, this needs to be fixed. This was Adams' biggest flaw.

I agree. I feel like if he wasn’t set on it, then we would’ve seen SWP or KP there already.

Let JWO play full-time she and team USA will need that maturity But, if Courtney's defense has improved as much as it seemed at times today, she is still in the mix. She is supposed to be a great passer, though today didn't provide much evidence of that. But, if her defensive game is vastly improved it would not surprise me if she still ends up in Tokyo.

Forgive me for not reading all the posts and such, but how many of Serbia's players were from their B team?

Forgive me for not reading all the posts and such, but how many of Serbia's players were from their B team? all of them. most of the 12 candidates for the olympics are home.
But I don't know how you guys define B/C/D teams so...

Poulter's sets almost everywhere on the floor have been consistently too low. She is getting terrible passes and I feel she is doing her best to set. She’s proving how much better Carlini is with bad passing. This is why they are a good combo. Poulter doesn’t have Carlini speed

Poutler's not had her best day but some of y'all need to chill lol Both Hill and MBH weren't in the gym (due to the Champion's league final), Poulter's barely played with them since 2019. There will be NO chill

MBH passed 50% positive/14% perfect (22 receptions), Hill was 40%/20% (5), Courtney was 50%/35% (20).
USA outpassed Serbia 49%/23% to 36%/20%.

Poulter doesn’t have Carlini speed I think Hill and MBH played overall not their best game. I do think Poulter was playing OOS way too much compared to when she was playing with JWO, Larson, and Pearson. I thought Poulter played well her blocking was better and she did do her best to get them one on one. Hills approach was too slow I believe. Poulter sets fast

Poulter sets fast I agree that the "messiness" of this match was attributed to being more OOS and Poulter setting three new hitters. It got better as it went on. Hill was actually too early imo and had to hang for the set. They figured it out in the third set though.

My observations for this match Hill - She keeps on getting drowned with sets that she’s receiving. She was spoiled by Wolosz so she’s having a hard time to adjust. I hope she’ll connect better with the setter in the coming matches.
MBH - Also no connection with the setter. Lol. She was also spoiled by Ogjenovic. Still a lot to improve on passing and digging.
Ogbogu/Washington - I thought they really played well today. With how well Washington is performing, these 2 are virtual lock to Tokyo.
JT - she was okay for me. But, there are still a lot of things she can improve on. I find her overconfident at times, especially with the clapping, but I guess it’s just her way to pump up her team mates. She contributed a lot of points, but her defense has a lot to be desired.
Poulter - she did better in the match against Brazil. But i guess, you can’t do much if you have poor serve receive. Also, her connection with the outside spikers is still not there.
Courtney - she shanked a few serves early in the game, but she pulled through as the match goes on. But I see JWO to be more dynamic and agile.

So Carlini sets against the Canadian B+ team without Larson playing. Terrible ball control. Poulter stans- she sucks.
Then Poulter has to set without Larson on the floor against a C team from Serbia and doesn’t have a good match. Poulter stans- she’s ok.
This board needs to focus a bit harder and look at why the the results are the results. Larson will be starting regardless of setter.
