I will be interested in who the best servers on the team are. Foluke's serve has (understandably) regressed since coming back from pregnancy, Chi's serve is meh, but outside of that, I feel like we have a bunch of 'good' serves and not any 'great' serves. so the penn state gals are a joke to you lmfao I meant to add in Hancock. Haleigh's a good server, but she's not going to go back and consistently get aces a la Rasic 2016. This was not Korea's best passing lineup anyways. |

Kind of cringe when people claim, Justine is a libero. (that is what she did for Nebraska and now professionally). In high school and club she was a setter. On the beach a right side (where she played more games than anywhere else). She is in all things, a volleyball player who can read and who can play libero. Moreover, part of an outside hitters job is to do the same role only they have to be able to hit and block, too. So there is no reason an OH can't play libero, too, except for fan bias.

Apologies if this had already been mentioned earlier in the thread, but is it possible Karch isn’t playing Carlini for strategic reasons? Like trying to not give away the starting Olympic lineup to all other teams? This is similar to what I mentioned earlier. If we will follow Karch’s pattern: 2 matches each for Carlini, Poulter, Hancock. Then 1 week to Hancock, dare I say, it’ll still be Hancock tomorrow, Poulter next week. Carlini against China. Tho these are just my predictions |
