Yep. If not for her defense and passing, she wouldn't make the roster. I would have loved to see more of Wilhite. I think Sarah has a better array of shots right now and better vision & awareness in attack.

i was ecstatic when carlini took carli lloyd's spot, just for her to get cut before the OG I think many of us also are sharing in the shock and utter bewilderment surrounding her exclusion from the Olympic roster. |

I miss the connection that Glass had with Foluke  While setting won't win a gold, it will lose it. If we can't get tempo right (ah hem, Poulter), we're in trouble...and it won't matter how many swings or serves little Ms. Hancock takes. |

I know you don’t like it when people are negative towards players but this is a team full of Olympians playing a team full of young Italians who don’t all even start for their club teams that are near the bottom of the standings. There must be players out of form. It's not that. It's the absolute refusal on here to give players a chance to make mistakes, or entertain the possibility that an opponent could do something well. Why was it your assumption that it was someone's fault that we lost? We're either not getting tested or we are trash. There's never a middle ground on here. It was amusing. Now it's just boring. Carry on. I'm just a grouch, lol. My favorite is when it's not considered 'grouchy' to bitch about the same players all day long while showing actual disdain for the entire sport, but then once someone points it out, the pointer-outer becomes the 'grouch.' And then when those same people are like 'I'm not being rude or disrespectful about that player I just called a loser, iT's JuSt mY PeRsOnAlIty' as though it's not this completely overused excuse to rag on whoever, for whatever. |

I see all this talk about how we have 3 AMAZING setters and honestly none of them have really played all that great this whole tournament save Poulter against Brazil. |
