Patchy has been a mess. Great one second, mess the next. I want him to focus! I wonder if he is queer and in the closet? I don't mean that in a judgmental way at all. I am queer so I am just curious if he is too. I assume if he is, he isn't out. I just wonder if that could be his mental block and why he could still not be reaching his full potential? I was a hot mess and couldn't focus on school or sometimes even basic, everyday tasks until I came out and then I started to reach more goals. I adore him and he looks like a beautiful soul and I support him no matter who he is btw. I just wonder if there is conflict with in him and that could be leading to his lack of focus. This is just a thought I had recently so please don't attack me. My intentions are benevolent I promise. Edit: This reads super deep and intrusive but I didn't mean it that way. I'm just morbidly curious. Patch came out a few months back. |

I went to Baylor and, while we had to attend chapel and take christian heritage classes (ugh), there were literally tons of queer people there so, for the year I was there, I never felt uneasy. Granted, I was still closeted at that time. Now, fast forward to 2010 when I got to TXState, I felt right at home there. I cannot imagine what being queer at BYU was like for him? 😬🥺 I'm fairly confident several of those boys are quite closeted. I just hate that that is the way it is, but until society fully embraces our community (we have come a LONG way), young queer people will continue to struggle to be their true selves, which is just really sad. Anyways, didn't mean to derail this thread. I literally didn't know Patch was out. I'm proud of him. |

Last month an LGBT friend of mine referred to herself as "queer" and I was like ".. isn't that offensive?" |
