It is likely that White redshirts this fall. Podraza sets Buckeyes next two years (2021 and 2022)and leaves White with three years to start (2022-2025). Why is this likely? If white is better than Podraza, she should start. I have a question.. if a player redshirts, do they get a scholarship for 5 years?

I can't recommend this event enough. Not only is it free, but there are no assigned seats. So you really get to take the new arena for a test drive. You can move to different seats and compare them. Plus you get to see everyone play, and not just the starters.

As we wait for the season to start, I reflected on the strong showing OSU made this past season finishing in the top four in the Big Ten. This season will the the team do enough to hold off Penn State, Purdue, Illinois, Michigan and others to maintain their position as a top five (or better) team in the Big Ten? Should be a very competitive year.

I can't make it because of the Crew game tonight, but would love an update on who appears to be starting, especially as the 2nd MB and OH and if anyone is injured. Unfortunately it isn't scheduled to be on BTN+, so I can't watch a replay like with other schools.

I'm hoping the Buckeyes significantly beef up the pre-conference schedule. Maybe 2022, Ohio State could replace Illinois in the BIG/PAC challenge. I am hearing that they will open up with The University of Washington the last weekend of August.UW fan here. Subscribing to BTN+ for a month to watch my Huskies play the Buckeyes. Considering both teams' records, it'll probably be a 5-set barn-burner. UW's weaknesses have been passing and floor defense. We have a new Libero recruit (Lauren Bays) coming in, which should help to shore those areas up, but the thought over in the UW threads is that Cook won't be throwing her to the "dogs" right off the bat, but will stick with last season's starter at Libero (Shannon Crenshaw, a converted OH). UW has everyone back, except for Serving Specialist Maria Bogomolova, including three All-Americans (Ella May Powell/S, Samantha Drechsel/OPP, and Claire Hoffman/OH). Who should we be watching for from the Buckeyes? Will Ohio State be coming to Seattle in the future? Or is this a one-and-done?

Ohio State will not fair well if they play like 2021 Michigan (the Spring version). FYI: This post could be satire.
