Sad loss for Texas but great season. Big12 had a lot to be proud of this season and will be even stronger next year.

A quick look at the 2022 incoming Freshman in the Big 12. Looks like this is one of the deeper classes for the conference. Baylor and Texas will have a top 10 class, maybe a top 5 class.
There are 3 top level stars coming in. Averi Carlson (S) for Baylor and Devin Kahahawski (OH) and Singletary (MB) for Texas. I believe that Carlson will be the pre-season conference Freshman of the year.
Looking at some of the other players that should make an impact over the next 4 years:
Baylor: Allie Sczech (RS), Alexis Dacosta (L), and Sophia Keene (OH). Iowa State: Maya Duckworth (OH). Kansas: Katie Dalton (S). Kansas State: Ava LeGrande (S). Oklahoma: Taylor Preston (OH), Chloe Kaminiski (L), Morgan Perkins (MB), Alexis Shelton (OH). Another deep class for Oklahoma, they have a excellent chance of being a tournament team as they move to the SEC. TCU: Zoe Hall (OH), Carlee Pharris (S), Jalyn Gibson (OH), Sarah Sylverster (MB). Texas: Emma Haller (L). Texas Tech: Ellie Baumert (S), Brynn Williams (OH). West Virginia: Tierney Jackson (MB), Ireland McCauley (L), Jordyn Schilling (UT).

I would say Decosta is high level as well and she is probably playing outside.

However those other 3 are playing with the youth national team and considered top level recruit by multiple services.

McCauley is going to Army West point not WVU now. Throw in Melanie McGann to WVU. Top player out of Keller high school in Texas. WVU has a large incoming class (8). Zoe Hall at TCU already making an impact! Pharris and Gibson a great 1,2 punch to add for TCU. Duckworth is gonna be great at Iowa State. Definitely not a lack of talent coming into the Big12. Will be fun to watch and see which coaching staffs develop and get the most out their athletes. Happy Holidays!

Will the impending coaching change at TCU affect any of these recruits? I wonder where they are with their search.

It’s photoshopping him with a TCU shirt over what was clearly a Baylor shirt in the original picture for me.
