NED serve receive is weird, all 3 start at the back line and start moving forward. Makes me think they're vulnerable to that deep seam since they are just moving away from it, or the short angle serve since they're no where close to it.

Definitely a battle between GM and TJ for that OH2 spot

Anderson gets blocked. 10-8
Makes up the next ball by a soft kill rather than a hard hit.

simple mistake by NED on that play, you don't block GM on that off-balance swing with no power. Just let your D take it. And as their coach said, SVT will make it happen.

Definitely a battle between GM and TJ for that OH2 spot only area that I think GM might be better than DeFalco or even Jaescke is in serve receive.

Has anyone on USA managed to get two serves in in a row?

Matt serves into the net.
But energy is better in Set 2 than in Set 1.
Dutch catching up on those service errors 😅

Has anyone on USA managed to get two serves in in a row? If it's any consolation, I think NED is serving into the net as much as we are.
