Is Serbia no longer in the Convo? Seems like it’s China and Italy. Did the lose players? Or was they 2016 Olympic run a Cinderella type run? They're definitely in the convo. Just some players' forms are in question. |

The top 4 (China, Italy, Serbia, USA) are basically co-favorites according to oddsmakers. China and Italy have slightly better odds than Serbia and USA but it's very close. |

Or was they 2016 Olympic run a Cinderella type run? considering they just won gold at the world championships in 2018 they are still very relevant lol. Brankica and Maja had some struggles this past pro season along with Veljkovic likely being unavailable due to her just giving birth a few months ago but Boskovic looks better than ever and Busa is improved and Rasic is Rasic so plenty of room to be optimistic. Hmmm...would it be better to have separate threads for each match? Well, we know all USA matches will have separate threads. I imagine every Quarterfinal, Semifinals, and Gold/Bronze match will have its own thread as well. The NON-US matches in pool play will probably just be discussed here. But I'm all for encouraging as many threads as possible  |

What's your favorite starting lineup for the US? I like Larson, MBH, Foluke, JWO, Poulter, but I'm torn on the 2nd middle and OPP. I'm a fan of both Drews and Thompson, but I think I favor Thompson for her athleticism, explosiveness, and blocking. Maybe I'm wrong on the blocking. Along with the coach, I really like lefty OPP's. I thought the second middle was set until I saw Washington's improvement and consistency.
