So would a 5 set loss for the USA still move them on to the quarters since they’d have a better set ratio than Argentina? Or would H2H supersede that? No. USA and Argentina are tied with 2-2 each. Whoever wins moves on. Whoever lose, is eliminated. Its a knock out match. Dang, the last two matches of pool play are gonna be so exciting but nerve-racking |

If France lose this, that Poland game in the quarterfinals would be very interesting. Poland is one of the best spikers in the tournament but France is one of the best diggers in the tournament. Plus, there's bad blood between Kubiak and Ngapeth.

Poland-France might be a really good match (if France loses this). I think France matches up quite well with Poland. They’ll be able to handle the Polish serves better than most teams.

I don't think that's right either.. Brazil with a loss is 3-2, 9 points, 11-9 set ratio USA with a 3-0 win (or 3-1) is 3-2, 9 points, 11-7 or 11-8 set ratio USA would be above Brazil as well. |

Patry and Clevenot are decent passers. Ngapeth is one of the best passers and of course grebennikov will be grebennikov. Thats really the advantage of France. Their digging. |
