Perhaps, but if anything it only would’ve been Fukuzawa over Otsuka. Takahashi went cold against Brazil but was fantastic against Iran. Again, this Olympics was a success for Japan and I don’t think there would be that much gain if at all if they took Fukuzawa I'm sorry. I'm not really a fan of takahashi and Otsuka. I would rather have Yanagida and Fukuzawa. And its not about attachment on Fukuzawa and Yangida. Olympics is like the final exam. And the previous year are your quizzes to prepare you for that exam. After the rio olympics leading to Tokyo olympics, what have Takahashi and Otsuka been doing? Compare that to Yanagida and Fukuzawa. Just because Takahashi did well in VNL doesn't remove the fact that VNL is all he have in his resume. I respect your opinion, I can see why experience could be valuable. But for Takahashi specifically, in the Olympics he was Japan's best passer according to the statistics (even if the FIVB stats are a little sus, his passing was really good) and hit 0.289 which is a decent number for the second OH. With the way Takahashi played in VNL as well, there's no way he should have been left off.

Brizard came on in set 1 and provided a spark. He stays on in set 2. Can we just admit Brizard IS their setter.

Are Nowakowski and Kubiak injured? They are not their usual self. I know Kubiak hasn't been playing in the preliminary but I thought they were just saving him for the late stage of the tournament.
