Today’s effort doesn’t get USA in the medal rounds. Poulter needs to sharpen up those decisions. Why do we continue to set Robinson so much?? Why?!

I get that the Russian middles are slow at closing but 8 attempts to Chi is simply not enough.

Whatever it is needs to be figured out quick. Poulter was taking way more risks before the roster was finalized. She looks to be playing worse and now Hancock better. I don’t know what that says but I expect Poulter to be starting and right now she looks a bit too conservative out there. |

So let me see if I have this straight. In previous VNL competitions Karch was criticized for basically playing starters and showing his hand to early. Not using the tournament to evaluate and experiment. I thought that criticism was on point. Now he’s mixing lineups all over and getting heat for inconsistent performances. I like what he and his staff are doing (although puzzled about Carlini-but still feel our setting is excellent....)
