So let me see if I have this straight. In previous VNL competitions Karch was criticized for basically playing starters and showing his hand to early. Not using the tournament to evaluate and experiment. I thought that criticism was on point. Now he’s mixing lineups all over and getting heat for inconsistent performances. I like what he and his staff are doing (although puzzled about Carlini-but still feel our setting is excellent....) This ^^^ we should be mixing up the teams and sometimes they arent going to be the best line up, but thats the point. You learn to adjust on the fly and manage to win. Not every game is going to look clean, and THAT IS OKAY I agree with this completely. Very wise. It’s also how you bring your entire roster along and make your practice gym even more competitive.

Sure hope Poulter wore her Apple Watch today so she gets credit for the 10,000 steps she ran today. Karch must have wanted her to get a little cardio in today by putting Hill in at Libero. Guess Plummer was unavailable. huh? What's wrong with hill playing libero? Have you watched the match girl? The 3 passers were good. The issue was the decision making of poulter even with mostly perfrct pass to her she still prefer to send it to krob with the middle being available. The transitioning was the problem as well because drews was the target. Plummer can't help dear.

Y'all blaming passers when in fact setting a ball is a crucial choice by the setter. Should you watch the match again and how many times russia targeting the the zone 1/6 and how luka/kk mentioned "transition" ball. Egonu will bully usa's defence even if you have krob/larson if you have lacking net defence and weak zone 1/2.

Yall are freak out too easily. Yeah maybe Poulter didnt play her best she also had Kim Hill at lib. Yeah Poulter was setting KRob, why not? Why not try getting those connections during the VNL. Why wait? Did you want her to start trying to get Krob going in the Olympics? This is VNL we just need to be battle tested even if we have a bad match it's okay because it will only help out in the long run Agree that people on this forum flip out at one bad game. However, Poulter has not impressed me her last few matches whereas I have been loving Hancocks decision making and how hard she's been playing. I kinda want to see Hancock tomorrow just to see what she can bring against an actual top team.

Also, what is it with Chi and destroying Russian teams lmfao.

Part of me wonders if they're intentionally giving her low attempts because of her shoulder (that was her injury with Eczacibasi) Probably not, but idk *shrug* lol

(Why does this feel like solving a math problem?)
