www.reuters.com/legal/government/john-mcafee-found-dead-prison-after-spanish-court-allows-extradition-2021-06-23/He had an interesting life after leaving McAfee Associates. He tried to invest his money into building mansions, but lost the bulk of his fortune when the housing market went bust around 2007. Then I remember he fled to Belize where there was weird stuff going on and he fled from there. He was sought for tax evasion and recently was ordered to be extradited back to the United States from Spain. It seems kind of weird that he lasted this long, but I'm sure the conspiracy theorists will have a field day.

Along with all kinds of other weirdness, there is this from an interview in 2015: "When McAfee was 15, his father committed suicide, a fact McAfee says he wakes up with every day."

He had some very weird stuff going on while he was in Belize. In 2012 his neighbor was murdered, and McAfee was a suspect. He apparently had an armed security staff that other people claimed was actually a criminal gang.

At this point I just figured McAfee was way more famous for all the weird sh!t he's done than the antivirus software.

but I'm sure the conspiracy theorists will have a field day. I get frustrated by just how many system resources the antivirus program uses much of the time. almost makes me think that it is being used by its creators to mine for cryptocurrency or whatever. then again, I feel the same about windows in general. (admittedly, it is probably just a case of sloppy coding in the software leading to bloated system files that bog down the machine and never get cleaned up, but anyway)

Does Norton have an alibi? Avast!! That's something we should consider, I think.

Does Norton have an alibi? He was with Ralph Kramden.
