Coming from the women’s game, don’t know the pool right now but how big would a win be here

If Phil wants treatment, he has to be the last one going in for the day. Dalcena can only train with one coach (Jason) and they can only train amongst themselves. In quarantine hotel: Jake, Phil, Kelly and Taylor In athletes Village: April, Alix, Sarah, Nick, Tri I feel bad for all of them except for Alix and April. Even to have your partner in quarantine sucks (ie Sarah, nick, tri). It’s like a mental lasso while trying to perform at their tip top level, best of their lives. They probably prepare for everything, but not being in social isolation.

Coming from the women’s game, don’t know the pool right now but how big would a win be here I’m also switching between the women’s and Dalcena. A win would put them in a better position going against Argentina. Going into today, the Dutch and Alison/Alvaro are 1-0 in wins to losses. Going into today, Dalcena and Argentina are 0-1 in wins to losses.

Phil blocks Alison. Now we’re talking. 14-16
Let’s try to close this out in two. Please.

Alison tools Phil’s block. 14-17 Nick squeezes one through Alison’s block. 15-17
Plan seems to be to tire out Alison. Ugh Nick was soooo close to getting that dig. 15-18
It’s now or never.

Nick trying to challenge for net fault. Some confusion with whether it can be challenged or not. I have no idea what that challenge was. Says successful but Brazil got the point.
Time to fire up Phil…

Alvaro hits out. Saves Brazil from reaching set point. 17-19 Alison hits out. 18-19
Brazil calls timeout.

They need to somehow score the next three points to avoid tiebreak.

Alvaro tools Phil. 18-20 set point for Brazil. Nick saves a set point down the line. 19-20 Alvaro gets it down. Headed to third.

The other 4 third ranked team then played Lucky Losers. The winner of the Lucky Losers make it to the Round of 16.
