Hindsight is always 20/20. I thought the best course of action was to start the season in the fall, especially after football decided they would. Having a regular season didn't seem to hurt Texas or Kentucky. In hindsight, I think that would have been the right call though it might have been dicey for the tournament as that is the period of time when COVID started spiking. Agreed, there was no way to know at the time how things were going to pan out. There was a lot of fear and just plain lack of information and knowledge compared to where we are now. I did talk to one B1G Ten coach who would've liked to have started the season in fall once it was announced that football was going to.

One thing the NCAA might do is to easa scholarship limits beyond the 21-22 season. From the number of returning seniors, it appears many schools were willing to fund extra ships so that may be good compromise. For me that's not the issue. Giving everyone a "free" year created a recruiting bottleneck that directly affected HS girls who graduate in 22. The situation stinks. I still think it was the best solution to the problem. It affected '21 and now '22. It will also affect '23 and '24.

Yep those decisions made by whomever (revising the quiet period, an Oprah-esque free year "YOU get a free year and YOU get a free year", and ease of the transfer portal) has caused a HUGE ripple effect. And now let's add NIL to the mix.

Can we see a list of voters? My goodness. This voting must be a direct reflection of Covid. I don't have the list, but I do have a pic of one extinguished voter ... A little medicine to calm the nerves before voting never hurts!🍻 🥂 🍷 🥃

Does Baylor have a total of 11 transfers & recruits? That ought to earn some type of recognition. V for Volume?

I think it was still a better solution to the problem than the solution that you wanted. Obviously we'll agree to disagree.
