#6 DROP Nina Cajic, Towson, OPP ADD Leyla Blackwell, San Diego, MB *FRESHMAN* Truthfully, I chose San Diego's setter because she can leech BAs from the middles Let's have a Petrie party! I thought about taking USD's setter, but this spring's flip flop and c4ndlelight's experience with Anna Newsome made me pass. Also, I took Blackwell to leech blocks from Fight On!'s monster OPP Grace Frohling. LOL.

I didn't know until I was halfway through the season that I messed up my strategy. If I had a strong 2nd/3rd setter to complement Hilley, my roster was smoking otherwise. Loved picking up Bergmann in Round 11 cuz no one else knew who tf she was.

- Fran benched both of the LSU players I drafted, seemingly for the rest of their careers - Zakutney got benched because she's an error machine - Purdue's middles aren't doing jack squat so far

This is correct. I subbed in Knight for Leon to make the kills gap closed in case there was some mistake. Peleg (OH) would have done the same for assists, but I re-counted, and nothing would have changed. Kills/Assists really came down to the wire. Good match. Good match to you too! It was a fun week to follow with the identical roster set up. The battle of the three setters worked in my favor but unfortunately only for assists lol

Going in, I didn't realize I'd be going against 3 setters almost every week, or how that would kill both the assists and blocks category for me because a mediocre blocking setter puts up more than a good blocking OH.

She had a pretty poor spring season, at least compared to the previous fall and normal season, so I’m sure people were hesitant to take the risk

I'm a little embarrassed I didn't play another setter, but my strategy isn't to win assists. Yes, Rice was out for you, but your sub was Madi Skinner, who averaged 4.57 kills this week. And Ahrens and Rastelli both put up 5.00+ kps this week. Ugh. Lol. Good game!
