Never thought I'd see the day where Startseva would be able to run a creative, tempo offense with Russia. Their passing is actually pretty good too right now, which definitely helps. told you guys China would make Russia look like a good reception team. |

I swear Hill isn't that bad of a passer...their serving was much better at the VNL. what did they do to make it not as good? I'm just confused. |

That whole set by Russia was the highest level of vball I’ve seen all olympics. No way Russia can sustain that.

Can we talk about Russia’s defense Podkopaeva is just that damn good apparently. USA had better serve Fedorovtseva off the court and be able to run the middle often and loudly. Russia is just a different team when they are OOS. In system, they scare me. Startseva is running a faster offense to my eye. The team seems to be good with it. What is happening?! I need an adult. |

Startseva 100% is doing something faster. Having their better libero definitely helps, plus Voronkova is passing well. I feel like they were starting to implement it at VNL too though, it isn't entirely new. |
