This match will decide the victor of pool A and that’s a pretty important thing for both teams because nobody wants to play the 2-3 in Pool B in the quarters. Will she play or is she out for the games? Natalia at OPP. If Tandara goes cold will we see Natalia be her replacement?? How many times will Rasic block Gabi? Things to watch for Serbia. Passing. It has held up very well so far. Can they sustain it against a good Brazil team? Boskovic swing count. Will she take over 70 swings? Brankica. Will we see her come in if Serbia struggles offensively? Or is she clearly behind everyone else.

Tandara needs to show up for Brazil to have a chance - she has been very quiet this tournament.
I also don't know how Brazil will fare if they don't have Macris. Roberta is very capable, but Macris has been connecting very well with her hitters

Brazil wins this match, wins Pool A, China stuns Italy, Russia loses both, and Brazil-China is a QF match rematch from Rio. Serbia gets Italy or USA in a crossover match. #SpeakIt

After watching the first 2 matches and seeing how Milenkovic and Blagojevic started in both, many people thought that was the new starting OH duo. But seeing how well Brankica and Busa played against Kenya (I know it's just Kenya, but Brankica didn't seem to be physically hampered), and knowing Terzic's ways, I think he just gave the former duo a chance to show against an opposition that is neither the best nor the worst in the group whether they can cut it at this level. They showed they can't (at least offensively, even though passing was great and reception was at the very least decent). Plus, the fact that Branica-Busa has been the starting OH duo since 2018 would seem to support my theory.

In the past, Serbia has been known to throw some matches. At least the match against Brazil is happening before Italy-China.

Honestly, had China beaten Russia, I would have said to bet your house on Terzic throwing this match to avoid China in quarters. Now? What would be the point? Not only would China need to beat Italy to still be 4th, but THIS rattled China needs to win against THIS Italy. Can anyone realistically see that?

I would like to see a Brankica and Blago pairing myself.

If Brazil still had Macris, I would be more worried for Serbia's chances at winning this match easily. Brazil is a way better at floor defense but is slightly undersized at the net. Tijana gonna tool off of Fé and Gabi all night long.
I'm curious to see how Roberta looks running the offense full time.

If it were a normal other opp I think gabis block could be more of a factor

Will Bosko drop 8+ kills a set in this match? Or will Brazil be able to “contain” her better than the others did lol. Although if Miha plays and isn’t like she was in Fenerbahce, then Bosko won’t need to put up 8+ kps

So China is out. Russia beat USA 3-0. I'm tuning in this game right now to see the CHAOS. Honestly both teams had enough success in their history, I want something unpredictable happen for the podium.
