I know a similar thread already exists in the main board, but putting it here will preserve it for the next three years at which time the Paris roster will be announced and we can look back and criticize each other from a pedestal of hindsight superiority.
OHs: Plummer, SWP, KRob, May MBs: Washington, Ogbogu, Rettke OPP: Thompson, Drews S: Poulter, Carlini L: JWO
The OHs were the toughest. KRob won’t add anything new to her game in the next 3 years, but I don’t foresee her hanging it up either. Does MBH continue? Will she still have it 3 years from now? Does Mackenzie Adams get a shot? Does Mac May transition well to the international game? Eggleston could be a dark horse here.
At OPP: does Drew’s befall a similar fate as Murphy? She’s better now than Murphy ever was so perhaps less likely.
I’m confident there will be at least one Paris Olympian that no one here will predict. I’ve obviously played it pretty safe.
Let’s hear yours.

OH: Robinson, MBH, Frantti, Plummer MB: Washington, Ogbogu, Butler OPP: Thompson, Drews S: Poulter, Carlini L: JWO
Having heard nothing about MBH and Robinson retiring, I assume they will still be around and subsequently will be on the team. Frantti has been trending up in Italy and I can see a similar trajectory to MBH with her. Plummer is the highest upside and will be playing with Imoco this season, if she figures it out she will be a star. May, Eggleston, SWP and more will be challenging for spots as well. The future is bright here.
Washington and Ogbogu will only get better, I'm picking Butler over Rettke but neither would be surprising. If the OHs are clearly set I could see us taking all four.
I don't see anyone from the college game unseating them in the shortened quad. If Samedy and Pressley were going pro now maybe, but Thompson still hasn't peaked and Drews continues to be fantastic.
Poulter will run the show. I'm thinking that Carlini grinds it out enough to beat out Hancock but either would be fantastic. I'm hoping Lilley gets looks during VNL matches.
JWO stole the show at Tokyo, no one will touch her here. Hoping that after this season in Germany her performance lands her contracts in one of the more elite leagues. That being said, we have so many promising bros in the pipeline (White, Hentz, Clarke, Nuneviller, Fleck etc) that I hope can get some quality looks. Going from the weakest position to potentially one of the deepest is exciting.
Karch will have his work cut out for him managing all of the talent coming from the NCAA in the next few years, but the future is extremely bright at pretty much every position. I don't think we will see too many major shakeups for Paris given the shortened quad, but planting the seeds for LA 2028 will be critical. I think we will be looking strong for a repeat for sure.

I bet we see little change with such a quick turn around to Paris.
My guess is that Hill & Foluke definitely retire but I could see everyone else stick around. I sort of feel its unlikely the coaching staff will rock the boat. I think we'll see Plummer, SWP, Carlini & Rettke return along with the rest of the Olympic roster. Both Opposites will be hard to unseat with how well they performed and I see both of them getting better. And does anyone really think Larson won't give it another go so close. She's an absolute baller and the MVP of the Olympics. I could see her being the Priddy of Paris.
What will Hentz do? JWO looks like she's one of the best if not the best liber in the world right now. Whooooda thunk that?

I don't follow the foreign leagues very closely. Has Frantti really been doing that well professionally? I've seen her name come up a couple of times in this thread. After her lackluster final couple of seasons at Penn State, I'm kind of surprised she's still playing.

3 yrs is long, larson already mentioned it some of her interviews. She want a family and a baby. Its time to give chance to our younger players.
Who knows krob also want a family within that span of 3 yrs, she is merried and she got gold medal.
Am not seeing mbh for paris. Hill and foluke will retire for sure.

OH: SWP, Plummer, MBH Opp: JT and Drews Setter: Poulter and Carlini MB: Chi, Washington and Butler L: JWO
I would be surprised if JWO calls it quits. She was amazing. I’m not a fan of MBH but I don’t think they won’t bring all (Olympic rookie) OHs So, of KRob and MBH, I would take MBH.

You had me laughing, though,... you jumped off the Carlini train right quick. I don't know if Lilley will be ready by Paris. I'd like to see her on an Italian A1 team by next season. I just noticed Drews is missing?!
